I am in no way a tree hugger or an environmental activist but since coming back from Japan, my believe and concept of recycling has definitely grown. Yesterday I was standing at my office kitchen and there was a poster about what you can and cannot recycle. The only thing that stood out was you CANNOT RECYCLE PLASTIC BAGS! Don't attempt to put your plastic/glass bottles or any recycling products into a plastic bag to check them into the yellow tip bin!
I did a little
research and found out that lids on plastic containers are not allowed in the recycle bins as well! Please take the effort to educate yourself
here. There is also an iPhone app available at your disposal, whilst checking your facebook status everyday you can spend 2 minutes a day on this
app to manage your recycle rubbish before taking it out to the bin. REMEMBER NO PLASTIC BAGS!
