Barco Clickshare: Wireless Content Sharing

We have recently installed ClickShare as our content sharing system within our meeting rooms. Traditionally there has always been a VGA cable lying loose on meeting room tables or nowadays a HDMI cable (truth is, it looks like crap). There has been modern integration where cables are run below the table to a center metal piece that flicks up but you still need a cable to your laptop.

With the new ClickShare system you can share your content wireless via USB, better yet you can share multiple content simultaneously depending on which system you get. Within our office we have the CSM-1 and CSC-1 (sharing 2 or 4 screens to a system).

CSM-1 cost AUD$2,700+- and CSC-1 cost AUD$5,900
Using this system is very easy! Unless you have a MacBook with no USB ports.

Insert dongle into the USB port
USB dongle has it's software included (like a thumb drive). If you are a new user, install the click share software and it will auto join the base station after installation.

When the installation has finish, click on the center button to share (LED will turn from white to red)
Easy as 1 2 3
This is a highly recommended product which is easy to deploy and users within your organisation can easily learn to use this feature, the only down side is the price of this product. However it is efficient and effectively therefore worth the CAPex.
