  1. Shortlist in Leederville: Smashed avo on Mr Drummond's homemade crumpets. Nuff said.
  2. Pixel Coffee Brewers in Leederville: Tiny, cute and full of retro charm, you can’t go wrong when it comes to breakfast here, but we love the Pixel porridge and whatever drool-worthy cake is on the menu that day.
  3. Piccolo’s Corner in West Leederville: This quaint, cute neighbourhood cafe dishes out amazing eats, including their ever-popular chorizo and avo smash.
  4. Stimulatte in Subiaco: Go for the coffee and stay for the banana and Nutella French toast, this little gem is a Hay Street institution.
  5. Architects & Heroes in Subiaco: The coffee nerds will keep you caffeinated and the 63-degree eggs will keep your tummy happy. Nuff said.
  6. Boucla in Subiaco: This much-loved Rokeby Road cafe has a rad middle eastern brekky menu that includes some of the best scrambled eggs in town, as well as some amazing cakes.
  7. Nic & Kolo in Applecross: The buttermilk pancakes with slab bacon (it's almost a centimetre thick) and the caramel creme, honeycomb and viola are a must.
  8. Gusto Food in South Perth: Serving some of the best homemade crumpets in town, get there early or be prepared to wait in line at this super popular cafe.
  9. Millpoint Caffe Bookshop in South Perth: Get a side of culture with your brekky at this popular South Perth haunt. Our pick is the delightful Spanish pot. 
  10. Toast in East Perth: Carb-lovers rejoice, this riverside cafe has your bready needs covered. If the massive menu of toast offerings doesn’t take your fancy, the cauliflower and zucchini fritters will.
  11. Little Bird in Northbridge: Food allergies got you down? Gluten and dairy-free options abound at Little Bird. The buckwheat pancakes are delish! 
  12. Mr Fox On William in Northbridge: Whether you're after something healthy or super indulgent, this Northbridge cafe will sort you out. The mac n cheese waffles are next level, just FYI.
  13. Little Willys in Northbridge: A little cafe with a big heart, go for the brekky bagel with a side of quirkiness.
  14. Flora & Fauna in Northbridge: One of our favourite Northbridge breakfast haunts, this tiny cafe serves up Micrology coffee, fresh pressed juices, fine teas and an all-day brunch menu that ranges from French toast topped with fresh edible flowers to freshly made raw treats.
  15. Tarts Cafe in Northbridge: A sweet and much-loved cafe, Tarts’ vegan Buddha bowl with quinoa, crispy spiced chickpeas, avocado, mixed greens, roasted red bell pepper sauce, pomegranate pearls and black sesame is a must try.
  16. Small Print Baker & Coffee Maker in Perth CBD: Keeping the Brookfield Place crew well fed and caffeinated, the granola and bircher muesli are both excellent options, but whatever you do, make sure you leave with a baked good for afternoon tea.
  17. Panache in Perth CBD: Feel smug all day after brekky here. The smoothies are excellent, while the chia pot will give you a healthy boost to the day.
  18. La Veen in Perth CBD: Offering some of the best coffee in the Perth CBD, this King Street gem has a delish brekky menu. Order the potato rosti with one of their two side menu sets and you'll be rollin' out of there happy as Larry!
  19. Uncle Joe's Mess Hall in Perth CBD: One of our fave hidden Perth cafes, the French toast is a fave but everything is stellar! 
  20. Isle Of Voyage in Perth: The Israeli aubergine sabich is the stuff brekky dreams are made of. Adding a side of avocado is highly recommended. This beautiful spot is definitely one of our favourite Perth cafes for breakfast dates!
  21. Tiisch in Perth: A beautiful CBD escape, the smashed avo and hummus at Tiisch is epic, and their matcha lattes are some of the best in the biz.
  22. West End Deli Cereal And Sandwich Bar in Perth: Enjoy your two Weetbix pimped up with Nutella, banana, maple syrup and almond milk or your Lucky Charms with toasted marshmallows, apple and salted caramels. 
  23. Hobart Deli in North Perth: We’re partial to the super tasty muffins at this homey and much-loved neighbourhood cafe.
  24. DuoTone in East Perth: An absolute blessing for those working down the eastern end of the CBD, DuoTone's drinks are just as good as their breakfasts. The PB&J smoothie is especially yummy!
  25. West End Deli in West Perth: Calm down, folks—we’d never forget this Perth cafe hero! Naturally, the coffee’s killer, and their stretched curds with kale, avocado, preserved lemon, dukkah, poached eggs & toast is divine. 
  26. Odyssea in City Beach: A killer view and their smashed avo comes with grilled halloumi, what more could you ask for?
  27. Good Things in Mosman Park: Good things dishes out some seriously good breakfasts. Their smashed avo is easily one of the best in Perth, but everything is good here.
  28. John Street Cafe in Cottesloe: This gorgeous beach-side breakfast spot is the place to be on a summer’s day in Perth. Go for ‘The Lot’ and you won’t have to eat again ‘til dinner.
  29. The Hardware Store in Scarborough: A north-side favourite, the Campos coffee is excellent and the herbed, crumbed poached eggs are both gorgeous looking and tasting.
  30. Vans Cafe in Cottesloe: Popular with the Cott lululemon-clad set, this Perth cafe specialises in super yum brekkies like pan-fried kale and asparagus with citrus goats curd, harissa, dukkah and soft poached eggs on rye.
  31. Voyage Kitchen in Sorrento: Keeping the northern suburbs folks happy since forever, the Norma’s Salsa is hard to go past, but we’re also partial to the Voyage Breakfast Board, which has a little bit of everything and means no #foodenvy.
  32. Someday Coffee Co in Floreat: This suburban cafe is dishing out some of the best carrot hummus we've ever eaten and the granola is top notch.
  33. Duck Duck Bruce in Fremantle: The names of the menu items are reason enough to visit this cute little Freo cafe. The “I Didn’t Quit Sugar” breakfast (vanilla pancakes, sour cherries, orange maple cream, pecan praline and gingerbread crumb) is the bomb.
  34. May Street Larder in East Fremantle: Whether it’s for the CocoWhip or the epic soul sandwich, this East Freo haunt is a foodie fave for their awesome all-day brekky menu.
  35. George Street Quarters in East Fremantle: Best known for its winning all day breakfast offering, it’s easy to see why with options like buttermilk pikelets with dragon fruit ice cream and croquet monsieur béchamel. Yum.
  36. Alder & Co in East Fremantle: Try Alder & Co’s delish caramel banana ricotta pancakes. You could linger for hours at this super-chill, lofty breakfast haunt in East Freo.
  37. The Orange Box in North Fremantle: A little more casual than neighbouring Bib & Tucker, this beachside kiosk is the perfect spot to kick back and relax when the sun is shining.
  38. Canvas Cafe in Fremantle: Nestled into the beautiful grounds of the Fremantle Arts Centre, Canvas is one of Freo’s best brekkie secrets. The shakshuka, served in a skillet, is a thing of beauty—two poached eggs in a 16-hour tomato sauce, fresh herbs, olives, herb butter and bread.
  39. Little Lefroy’s in South Fremantle: A thoughtful little cafe that takes care to minimise its environmental footprint, the coffee is outstanding and the brekkies are on point. The ‘Little Breakfast’ is huge and tasty.
  40. Kazoomies in Fremantle: If you're a shakshuka fan then get yourself to Kazoomies immediately. There are plenty of options, but we recommend Zaldeesh’s lamb red shakshuka.
  41. Moore & Moore in Fremantle: Brekky spots don’t come much cuter than Moore & Moore. The bircher muesli is a winner.
  42. The Shipping Lane in North Fremantle: You’ll find some of Perth’s best breakfasts here like huevos rancheros, potato stack with haloumi and smoked salmon with asparagus, poached eggs, hollandaise and smoked paprika butter on sourdough. Phew. (Closed until further notice)
  43. Lenny The Ox in Fremantle: This little ray of sunshine on Wray Ave in Freo is all about delicious breakfasts. From the porridge with rhubarb and apple to the salmon omelette with smoked curd, beets and avocado, it’s all good here!
  44. Ootong & Lincoln in South Fremantle: One of the most popular brekky haunts in town, the top quality nosh runs the gamut from chai chocolate pancakes to spinach and quinoa soda loaf and everything in between!
  45. Haynes Street Larder in Kalamunda: The locals may want to keep this place a secret but it’s too good not to share. The health-focussed menu stars an outstanding acai bowl but it’s hard to go past one of the ever-changing muffins.
  46. Mason & Bird in Kalamunda: The all day menu is chock-full of brunch goodies like avo with charred corn salsa, savoury waffles and their own homemade cocoa pops to keep your inner child happy.
  47. Jack & Jill in Kalamunda: This bustling breakfast spot serves a freakin’ killer brioche French toast with hibiscus curd, cumquat jam, vanilla cream and fresh berries. It’s insane in the membrane!
  48. Little Guildford in Guildford: With a simple and delicious breakfast menu, we’re as keen as beans to try out the eggs on fire—soft poached eggs on corn and chilli potato cakes, fresh spinach, spicy sauce, jalapenos, more chilli and Greek yoghurt.
  49. Mary Street Bakery in Mt Lawley: If you haven’t had one of the epic salted caramel doughnuts, you haven’t lived, but their brekkies are on point too.
  50. Cantina 663 in Mt Lawley: This cafe keeps things fresh with an ever-changing all-day menu. We reckon the smoked ham, cheddar and aioli toastie will get your day off to a cracking start.
  51. Red Man Cucina in Bedford: Their bacon and egg roll is the stuff of legends!
  52. Garden On Guildford in Maylands: This cutesy little cafe is tucked just off Guildford Road in Maylands and they serve a winning eggs benny. Grab a seat in the front room and definitely order a lemon ginger tonic.
  53. Slate Cafe in the Swan Valley: With a former Nobu chef at the helm, it’s no surprise Slate Cafe’s breakfasts will knock your socks off (and most likely your taste buds). Try the chilli prawn omelette!
  54. Sayers in Leederville: The queues for this cafe are a good indication of the breakfast awesomeness that abounds within. Gorgeous design meets scrumptious food with a focus on quality, local produce. We love the pulled bbq brisket with fried egg on sourdough and beetroot sauerkraut, gherkin & mustard aioli. (Visited)
  55. Hylin in West Leederville: Whether it’s for the smashed avo, brekky bagel or acai bowl, this place is packed day after day and we think we know why. Everything is scrumptious! (Visited)
  56. Sapore Espresso Bar in Cloverdale: This little cafe is worth a drive across town for their #foodporn offerings, like gourmet shakes (salted caramel popcorn anyone?) and brioche French toast. (Visited)
  57. Sayers Sister in Northbridge: The crew here do not put a foot wrong when it comes to the most important meal of the day. The perfectly poached eggs are hard to resist but whatever you eat, pair it with a Bloody Mary and you’ll be in brekky heaven. (Visited)
  58. Fika on Brix in Beckenham: This brunch spot dishes out some of the best French toast in all of the lands, the katsu chicken bao also packs a punch. (Visited)
  59. tbsp in Bayswater: Menu favourites are easily the pulled brisket benedict with slow cooked eggs, brioche French toast and the fried chicken sandwich served in a brioche bun with gochujang slaw and pickled cucumber. (Visited)
  60. Tuck Shop Cafe in Northbridge: It’s never too early for a pie in our books, but just in case you have higher standards, the brekky bruschetta is delicious and comes with grilled bacon, goats curd, tomato, avo and basil. Nom. (Visited)
  61. Harvest Espresso in Victoria Park: This tiny cafe whips up a mean matcha latte and really unique brekkies like the beef short ribs, sticky toffee pudding and braised honeycomb tripe. (Visited)
  62. The Imp in East Victoria Park: The smashed avo on rye with smoked salmon is crazy delicious and the coffee is good with a capital G! (Visited)
  63. Bib & Tucker in North Fremantle: Not to be outdone by the epic views, Bib & Tucker offer some of the yummiest brekkies in town including a delicious breakfast pizza. (Visited)
  64. Bread in Common in the Fremantle: Go for brekky, stay for lunch and buy some bread for the way home! (18th June Ride)
  65. Tropico in North Beach: This beautifully designed, light and airy North Beach cafe is another of the city’s must-visits. The wood roasted mushrooms with basil pesto and poached eggs on sourdough are a yummy option. (25th June Ride)
  66. Mrs S in Maylands: Just like eating brekky at your Grandma’s house (but with way better food). Many go for the cakes, we go for the epic croque monsieur. (2nd July Ride)
  67. Typika in Claremont: This industrial-style cafe is always full, and for good reason. The coffee is top notch, and the spiced beef benedict is one of the darn tastiest breakfasts in Perth. (9th July Ride)
  68. Chalky’s Espresso Bar in Fremantle: The breakfast game is strong at Chalky’s Espresso Bar in Freo, who concoct tasty yum yums like The Hock—a delectable mess of poached eggs, pork hock, potato and artichoke gratin with hollandaise. (16th July Ride)
  69. Port City Roasters in South Fremantle: One of the best spots for breakfast in Freo, try the eggs benny chan and ALL of the coffee. (30th July Ride)
  70. Tribute Coffee & Kitchen in Shelley: The head chef previously worked at Restaurant Amuse and you can see his Middle Eastern heritage shine through in dishes like the smashed avo which is served with dukkah crusted feta, beetroot puree and za'atar, while the head barista was previously at Timber Cafe in Harrisdale, so you know the coffee is going to be ace!.   71. Gordon Street Garage in West Perth: A cool spot to take out of towners for a Perth brekky to remember, the baked eggs with wood-fired lamb shoulder are a must. (10th Sept Ride)
  72. The Little Banksia in Kensington: This delightful suburban cafe produces some mouth-watering breakfasts and their coffee game is strong! Trey the fritters, you won't regret it. (24th Sept Post Ride)
  73. Panda & Co in Highgate: Iced coffee served in light bulbs and breakfast baos are just some of the reasons you'll love Perth Asian hangout, Panda & Co. Doughnuts, Korean waffles and rollie pollies (the spring roll version of a reuben sandwich) feature on the menu, as well as quality coffee and cold brew. Nice!. (13th & 20th Aug Run, 2th Sept Ride)
  74. Sprolo in South Perth: The traditional Singaporean breakfast is where it’s at here. Grab a cup of their smooth Blacklist brew to wash it down with. (16th Oct Ride)
