I learn two things today!
#1 how to type the £ symbol in Windows
hold down "alt" + 0163
--source\\: google
#2 how to resize your photos quickly using Windows 7
step 1: select your photo or photos
step 2: right click on your selections
step 3: hover over "Send to:"
step 4: select "Mail attachments"
A window will prompt you for picture size, I select "Small: 800x600".
--fyi\\: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a 16 mega pixel rear facing camera.
Photos are taken at the resolution of 5312x2988 and a file size of 4++ MB.
step 5: a mail window will appear with a resize photo as an attachment.
step 6: drag the attachment from the mail window to your preferred folder
With the process you get a new image file resolution of 800x450 and a file size of 40KB instead!
--tip\\: this feature doesn't work if you don't use outlook as your default mail application. I found this out as I tried to finish this blog post at home and I don't use outlook on my home PC.
